Okay.. I know I say this a lot.. but God never ceases to amaze me and I thank my blessings, when he presents them. I know this was a very trying day and thankful I had therapy to deal with it. She has helped me with food addiction issues, work stuff with co-workers and a family issue. Anyways.. I was on my way and had time to leave a little early, thinking I needed to, not sure why, but went with it. I was leaving my complex, and went a different way, since I threw out my trash on the way out. I passed by this very large, heavy set black woman. She had the biggest grin on her face.. happy as could be. Donned in her workout outfit, pumping along with hand weights. I saw how happy she was saying "that was me 7 months ago.. GOOD FOR HER!" Then I noticed, her feet. She had on a old pair of shoes. Worn, holes and soles so worn.. it was sad. I said a prayer as I whipped my car back around, that she wore a sized 10 shoe. You see.. I have two, very newer in wonderful condition New Balance shoes. One a pair of walkers and one a pair of cross trainers. The cross trainers are barley worn. For some reason, I knew they were meant for her. I now have to have an 11 runner, cause I run now and the 10's hurt my toes when I run, badly, so I cannot wear the other shoes. I jumped out of my car, with a few moments to spare and jogged up to her (in my crocs and still workout clothing from my afternoon run, myself!) I waved hello and she greeted me grinning saying "hello". I asked her what shoe size she wore. She said "I wear a 10!" I got chill bumps. She happened to live 2 buildings behind me, so I promised to bring her two pair of shoes . She was so thankful and said she felt like crying. I told her it was my pleasure to do so. Not only that, I took her a new pair of dress shoes I can no longer wear, due to my PF and a 2 month supply of Garcinia Cambogia, which no longer works for me, since I am close to my ideal weight. Knocked on her door. She lives with her mom, little girl and I think her brother. I gave them tips, we exchanged numbers and I am going to help assist this family with healthier eating habits. She said she loves to exercise, but needs help with her eating habits.
